Origins
Apartment Brewing was created by Nathan Sicard, a Civil Engineer in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont (NEK). As a avid homebrewer, he was looking for a better way to let the beer work it’s magic and was unsatisfied by the products available on the market (which mostly consisted of buckets, plastic kegs and sometimes stainless steel rigs).
To rectify this Nate set up to create an all in one brew-device that would accommodate is living conditions (a small apartment) and his quest for the easiest brewing method. Thus was born the Apartment Brewery System.
Mission
The Mission of Apartment Brewing is to provide the best quality products for taking your homebrew set up to the next level. We don’t espouse to know everything there is to know about homebrewing, and we don’t claim that our product makes better beer than that of our competitors equipment. What we can promise is a well-crafted, well-thought out, tried, tested and true solution to a gripe we had with homebrewing: plastic buckets suck.
The Business
First registered in 2007, Apartment Brewing is a small team of friends (and some family) that dedicate time to building the business. Two brothers did the graphics and website, a father and son the design, and a few other buddies and relations are sprinkled in to make sure we stay true to the mission and don’t piss off any customers (because our customers are often our friends!).
